AMA Comes Out Against Serving Processed Meats in Hospitals!

Breaking News: The American Medical Association (AMA) just passed a resolution that calls on hospitals to serve plant-based meals and to eliminate bacon, sausage, hot dogs, ham, and all other processed meats! That is now official AMA policy! This is a huge victory for Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine which has been pushing for this much needed change!

  2. Don’t you wonder how it took so long to realize that unhealthy processed “food like stuff” should be avoided as part of a nutritional program in a hospital setting? It is criminal that physicians do not include proper nutrition as part of an ESSENTIAL component to maintain the quality health of their patients. Even if they themselves are not qualified to handle this responsibility, they are capable of referring their patients to qualified nutritionists who can handle this part of health.

  3. It’s about time!🙂 It was always mind blowing how the medical community preached about health and lifestyle but when it came to hospital food, it was nothing but junk for the most part. So happy they are now doing a turnaround and being more health concious
